This piece is an experimental interactive artwork created using Transient Labs' Dynamic Art Engine. Comprising of almost a dozen hand-painted layers and simulated depth of field, Ascension I responds to vertical mouse or touch input - allowing the viewer to modify the focus of the lens blur and engage with the miniaturising 'tilt shift' effect.
